As 2024 draws to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on another year of innovation, growth, and collaboration and to thank you for the part you’ve played in it. Here’s a look back at some of the highlights that have defined our year.

Products

We kicked off the year with the launch of tagMOD, an add-on module designed to integrate seamlessly with our digiDL-H and digiDL-HX remote download devices. This device collects data from Bluetooth tags and sensors, enabling fleet managers to track motion, presence, temperature, humidity, magnetic and tyre pressure data alongside the tachograph real-time data (H & HX), GPS and CAN-bus data (HX only) making it a hugely powerful tool.

Throughout the year, we have worked closely with our partners to refine tagMOD’s functionality and enhance its management module on digicentral-web. The feedback has been positive and we’re excited to see how this develops in 2025.

In April, we launched the all-new digicard-hotel 3.0, following a complete redesign of the product that serves as the backbone in our remote download solution enabling the management of countless company cards to support fleets in their tachograph operations.. With increased capacity (supporting up to 32 company cards), a compact design featuring vibrant LED indicators, and custom firmware for enhanced performance, digicard-hotel 3.0 has been a welcome upgrade to its predecessor.

Projects

Among our many internal development projects, side projects, making improvements and finding and fixing any bugs in our software and firmware, we have also been able to focus on some specific and larger projects throughout the year.

We have recently released a new price list module in DealerZone. This required an all-round team effort behind the scenes and the feedback we've received has been really positive. This module brings convenience, giving our resellers access to Tachosys pricing whenever they need it, it makes searching for a product code or price easy and provides links to associated product pages to help identify the right product or accessory.

This year we've started the ground-work on our digicentral-web revamp. This is a huge project that will allow us to improve the digicentral user experience and make for smoother integrations via API. While much of the progress has been behind the scenes, deep down at database level, we're excited to continue this project through 2025.

People

This year brought exciting changes to the Tachosys team. We welcomed Matt and Alethea, who have already made significant contributions, we’ve bid farewell to Richard and have recently sent Keren and Sarah-Joy off on maternity leave.

At a leadership level, Adam has stepped into the role of Managing Director, bringing his energy and expertise to our operations. This transition allows Ian, our Founding Director, to take on a supportive role, ensuring the continuity and success of our business.

Of course, the other big part of ‘people’ is you - our valued partners, customers, industry colleagues and friends. Your trust, feedback and partnership inspire us to innovate and grow. Whether it's collaborating on projects or sales opportunities, receiving your valuable feedback or catching up at exhibitions or Showcase days, we look forward to much more of this in 2025.
