Connected People
From small and simple beginnings and in an ever-changing industry, we have invested in building a versatile team;
able to adapt quickly to ensure that our products remain the best within the industry.
Our in-house development, production, sales and support teams are the foundation on which our company is built.
In all that we do, we value relationship within the team and with our resellers.
Day to day I keep an eye on how everyone is and assist with the practicalities of managing a building and a workforce and am available to anyone for support or to discuss ideas.
Out of the office I enjoy trying to learn French, word and number puzzles and reading. I try to spend some time outdoors every day walking and enjoying nature. Living in a village community I like to get involved with some of the many activities my church is responsible for including singing in the choir and playing recorder in the worship band. I also like to spend time with family; four grown-up children and six grandchildren so far.
My role covers a wide range of areas within the company. Firstly, I manage the company’s finances, ensuring all supplier payments are made within terms, monitoring accounts receivable, filing all relevant company documents and producing quarterly management accounts packs. I am responsible for running and reviewing the company payroll, managing the office including resolving any internal queries. I am also involved in our building projects as well as renovating our office space, as we have recently purchased our building. I also manage our company based in France, as we currently have one employee working in Paris, including managing payroll, bank accounts and company filings.
I enjoy walking and like to spend time doing this with my husband. We also tend to enjoy DIY and seem to always have a project on the go in the house. Over the last year we have remodelled and redecorated five rooms in our house. Next project is a brand-new kitchen. We also had our first baby in June 2023, which made an exciting and challenging change to our house!
My day to day is ever changing but can contain many different things depending on the season. Prototyping of electronics by drawing schematics, laying out and iterating PCB designs in 3D, hand soldering components and parts to create the prototype which then get passed to the rest of the dev team to do their bit. Once a prototype has been around the cycle a few times and we are happy I will liaise with our factory in China about manufacturing and production. Also day to day diagnosing small issues throughout the business that might crop up and generally trying to solve problems.
I enjoy getting outside and playing golf on a weekend with some nice weather. Trying to get to the cinema to see new movies and go for a nice meal out. Walking my two dogs around Crawley but mostly like to take it easy at home gaming online or binging a new TV show with my wife.
On a daily basis, I always start with coffee, check emails for latest orders which need to be processed. I work with my daughter Keren in the production office where we share most of the daily duties including order processing, stock control, customer management, warehouse management and many more, between the two of us we run a well-oiled machine.
When not at work I like to spend time with my Family. I have been married for 32 years and have two grown up children. I play the drums and also enjoy an evening gaming with my two grown up children who seem to enjoy beating me at every game nowadays. I’ve had various jobs including a professional music career as a drummer and a children’s entertainer.
My job entails getting orders process, putting customer specific serial numbers and programming onto products so they can be boxed up and sent out. When I come in on a morning, first thing I do is get a coffee, then look at the orders to do. Orders are completed on a first come, first serve basis so I can organise my time accordingly. I work closely with Pete in production to work efficiently and effectively. I also work with Michael and Kieran to organise returns and ensure they are fixed and back to customers as soon as possible.
In regards to hobbies, I like to relax on the weekends and see my family. At the moment, most of my free time is spent organising my wedding that is happening later this year. My fiancé and I live together with our new rescue cat, who likes to wake us up very early every morning. Before working at Prosys, I worked at the Student Union Bar at my university, while I completed my degree in Police Studies and Criminological Psychology.
I am currently covering Keren's maternity leave. I work within the production team and help to build the products by loading the firmware and software onto the devices, run them through our testing processes and package them up ready for Pete to ship out to all our customers.
I love to bake, so much so that I've started my own baking company. My young daughter loves to help in the kitchen and the team at ProSys are definitely benefitting from my love of baking! I'm passionate about natural skincare, make-up and body care and am a Tropic Ambassador. I was a secondary school teacher for five years before joining ProSys in September 2024. I taught almost all humanity subjects and was passionate about supporting all student’s needs, which led me into the role of Assistant Head of Year.
My role generally sits between the finance and production departments. It includes basic bookkeeping and other administration tasks as well as managing our stock levels and liaising with our manufacturer in China to ensure we have enough products to sell!
I love the outdoors so I spend a good number of my lunch breaks either walking or running near the office in Reigate; if I’m feeling particularly energetic I might even head up to the top of the North Downs. Outside of work, I spend a lot of time running around after my four children, playing music, watching sport and being an active member of my local church.
I write software for use on Windows desktop and server, and for use on Android. So I spend my day writing code in C# for Windows applications, TSQL for databases, Javascript for websites, Java for Android apps.
I like to run two or three times a week, sometimes this includes joining friends at a local Park Run on Saturday morning. I would love to spend more time cycling and getting out onto the water - in a kayak or on a paddleboard. I follow Harlequins rugby club and try to get to as many games as I can.
I code the firmware that runs on most of the devices ProSys/Tachosys manufacture. Work includes creating firmware for new products (working closely with Adam who does the electronics) and maintaining old products (bug fixes and additional features).
My role primarily involves supporting customers with our hardware and software. I liaise with the dev team to help identify and resolve issues with hardware, firmware and software, such as general testing before release to investigating specific customer reports. I also look after our office’s network and server environment.
I’m an avid reader, mostly of science fiction and fantasy. Some of my favourite authors are Terry Pratchett, Ian (M) Banks, Alastair Reynolds, Martha Wells and Charles Stross.
I mostly spend my time providing technical support to our resellers and responding to customer queries via phone and email. I am also responsible for booking in, troubleshooting and repairing devices, including board level modifications and soldering work.
In every job there are the tasks on your to-do list and then there are the ones that hit your inbox throughout the day. My to-do list involves managing our website; ensuring content is up-to-date and relevant and that new content is being produced and pushed out through our social media channels and to our network of resellers via email campaigns. You’ll also find me organising our exhibitions and showcases – often providing the high points of my job, meeting our resellers, interacting with like-minded people in the industry and hearing from those who use our products on a daily basis. I’m also involved in the process of how we develop the business with new customers, hardware and software developments and new product releases.
In my free time I enjoy venturing out with my wife and kids to discover the many wonders of the French capital. We all enjoy being part of Église Fireplace (our Parisian church), filling our apartment with people and food and doing our little bit to make the world a better place. I also love music; playing the guitar and piano, writing songs, singing with my wife and being introduced to the latest and greatest songs by my kids.
