2023: A Year In Review

With the end of 2023 firmly in sight, it's time to reflect on another eventful year here at Tachosys — a year marked by innovation, dedication, and commitment both to and from our customers. From product releases and redevelopments to showcases and exhibitions, our journey through this year has been full of challenges as well as opportunities to overcome.

Having finished 2022 with the launch of the digiDL-H, we were pleased to start 2023 with the release of the digiDL-HX; our all-in-one telematics device. As we continued through the year, our development team redesigned both the digifobpro and the digiblu in order to take advantage of newer technologies; including upgrading both products to use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), as well as to secure supply with other new components. We have also added the KlineMOD to our offering to support front-port remote download on VDO tachographs.

We are now rounding off the year with the announcement of tagMOD; our Bluetooth tag module that integrates with both the digiDL-H and digiDL-HX. This device is the first major add-on to our ‘hub’ solution, demonstrating the expandability of the DL-H/HX to capture even more data and pass it through the already established connection.

One of the ongoing global challenges is the rising costs associated with so many aspects of business (and life for that matter). As the global economy continues to fluctuate, we remain determined to provide our customers with the best value for money without compromising on the quality of our products. With this in mind, we have fought hard against any price increases and are pleased to maintain our prices for 2024.

Throughout this year, we exhibited at three significant exhibitions: the Commercial Vehicle Show, ITT Hub and Road Transport Expo. These events continue to provide invaluable opportunities to connect with those working across the industry, to showcase our products, and gather feedback and insights which is vital for us as we move forward. We have also been pleased to host eight more Showcase days, welcoming resellers from across Europe for a day exploring our product range, strengthening relationships and coming to better understand one another’s business.

At the beginning of November, we were thrilled to celebrate the crescendo of an incredible season for Paul Rivett as he became the Division 2 champion in the British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC). Tachosys has proudly sponsored Paul for a number of years (previously in the Clio Cup) and the title is a testament to his skill, experience and outstanding perseverance.

As we turn the page to 2024, we remain committed to innovation, to our customers and to playing our part within the industry. We're excited about the future and look forward to seeing many of you at next years’ exhibitions, Showcase days and meetings.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful start to the new year.

Merry Christmas from Tachosys
